POSTUROMED is a training and therapy device with an adjustable unstable surface. It is widely used in neuro-orthopedic therapy, prevention, and competitive sports.

The surface for active therapy is mounted on patented, special oscillation elements that allow dampened avoidance movements within a specified frequency range and up to a certain amplitude.

An essential part of postural therapy on the POSTUROMED is the novel exercise technique according to Dr. Rasev. By incrementally increasing proprioceptive and vestibular afferents, a differentiated activation of the muscle groups in the trunk and leg area is achieved. This training, ideally adapted to individual adaptive capabilities, serves to optimally stabilize weight-bearing joints and the spinal area.

POSTUROMED holistically influences the control of posture and movement, thereby promoting the improvement of the user’s segmental coordination and overall performance in monotonous activities.

The integrated crosshair with circle centering provides users with visual orientation in training and therapy methodology. This marking allows for easier standardized testing (e.g., Rhomberg test) and precise foot placement.

Additionally, there is the provocation unit designed for targeted deflection of the therapy surface, serving the standardized test of segmental stability. This is mechanically triggered and allows deflection levels of 30, 40, and 50 mm.
